Exeter Christmas Carnival workshops

Thursday 27 October 2022 - Friday 28 October 2022

Free October half term sessions!

Free Lantern Workshops this Half Term ✨🏮✨
To celebrate Exeter Carnival returning we have teamed up with Tonic Creatives who will be holding pyramid lantern workshops in October Half Term.
By the end of each workshop, you’ll have made a beautiful willow and paper lantern. All participants are then invited to join Tonic Creatives to be part of the Exeter Carnival Parade on 26th November.
All materials, tools and lights are included. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This activity can get messy so please wear clothes suitable for messy play. Your lantern may still be slightly damp at the end of the workshop and will need to be left to dry overnight at home.
This fun and simple workshop is run by Tonic’s Vik Westaway - a willow sculptor and lantern wizard! We are inviting each family to make 2 lanterns to illuminate the parade with colour and light!
